Nick Ellis Named MAC West Special Teams Player of the Week

Toledo, OH – Toledo senior punter Nick Ellis (Pickerington, OH) was named the Mid-American Conference West Division Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance in Toledo's 48-17 victory over Akron on Nov. 2.
Ellis landed both of his punts inside the 20-yard line vs. the Zips last Wednesday. He averaged 43.5 yards per punt, including a long kick of 56 yards.
The Rockets (7-2, 4-1 MAC) travel to Chicago on Wednesday to face Northern Illinois (3-6, 3-2 MAC).
