
Corey Jones Named MAC West Special Teams Player of the Week

Toledo, OH – Toledo senior return specialist Corey Jones (Pittsburgh, PA) was named the Mid-American Conference West Division Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance in Toledo's 37-19 victory over Ball State on Nov. 16.
Jones returned a punt 63 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter to give Toledo a 14-0 lead in the win over the Cardinals. He also returned two kickoffs for 35 yards, and added four receptions for 63 yards. He has now caught a pass in 36 straight games.
Toledo (9-2, 6-1 MAC) travels to No. 14 Western Michigan ( 11-0, 7-0 MAC) this Friday in a game that will determine the West Division participant in the MAC Championship Game.
