Toledo in Fourth Place Following First 36 Holes at Idle Hour Championship

MACON, GA – Sophomore Pinyada Kuvanun shot one-over par 145 (71-74) in the first two rounds to help Toledo to a fourth-place standing on Monday at Mercer's Idle Hour Collegiate Championship. The tournament is being held at the par-72, 6,136-yard Idle Hour Country Club.

Kuvanun is sitting alone in third place on the individual leaderboard, three strokes behind Troy's Fatima Cano (73-69=142) and one in back of Southern Mississippi's Kelly Erasmus (69-75=144).

Sophomore Pimchanok Kawil is tied for 10th place at five-over par 149 (73-76) and is followed by sophomore Natcha Daengpiem (T-35th/81-73=154), freshman Saranlak Tumfong (T-39th/79-76=155) and junior Napaphan Phongpaiboon (T-47th/80-77=157). Sophomore Hannah Kochendoerfer is competing as an individual and tied for 56th place at 18-over par 162 (82-80).

The Rockets' team score of 26-over par 602 (303-299) has them within striking distance of first-place Troy's 36-hole total of 20-over par 596 (304-292). Host Mercer is just one stroke out of the lead at 21-over par 597 (300-297) and Southern Mississippi is in third place at 23-over par 599 (298-301). Cincinnati and Western Kentucky are just two strokes behind UT leaving six teams separated by just eight strokes.
