TOLEDO - The Rockets are looking to make it a perfect 4-0 in Mid-American Conference action when they host Ohio at the Glass Bowl this Thursday, Oct. 27 at the Glass Bowl (7:30 p.m./CBS Sports Network).
Toledo (6-1, 3-0 MAC) is coming off a big 31-17 home victory over Central Michigan last Saturday. Quarterback
Logan Woodside and wide receiver
Cody Thompson hooked up for all four Rocket touchdowns. All four of the scores came in the second half following a low-scoring opening 30 minutes that saw Toledo holding a 3-0 lead. Toledo's defense did a good job containing CMU senior quarterback Cooper Rush to just 18-of-31 for 229 yards, one TD and one interception. Two other Rocket interceptions were called back due to roughing-the-passer penalties.
It was another big game for Woodside, who has been putting up incredible numbers in his junior season. He has thrown at least four touchdown passes in each of the last six games. For the year, Woodside has 28 TD passes, the third-highest total in school history in a single season and just one shy of the record held by Bruce Gradkowski (2003 and 2005).
Ohio (5-3, 3-1 MAC) is tied for first place with Akron in the MAC East Division following its 14-10 win at Kent State on Saturday. The Bobcats jumped out to a 14-0 lead and then held on. Ohio held the Golden Flashes to just 264 yards of total offense. Ohio is third in the MAC in points allowed (24.2) and No. 1 in rushing defense (115.1). Veteran head coach Frank Solich's team has the benefit of one of the top kickers in the MAC, freshman Louie Zervos, who has made 17-of-21 attempts this season.

• Toledo is third in the nation in successful third-down attempts, converting 55-of-102 (53.9%). Conversely, Rocket opponents have made just 18-of-91 third-down tries (19.8%), the second-best mark for defenses in the country.
