FULL RESULTS

TOLEDO, OH – The Toledo women's track & field program continued its season at the Bob Eubanks Open on the campus of Grand Valley State University. 

Toledo competed against the host Grand Valley State, as well as Mid-American Conference members Bowling Green and Eastern Michigan. Rounding out the field was Anderson, Chicago State, Cornerstone, Davenport, DePaul, Detroit-Mercy, Ferris State, Guelph, Indianapolis, Michigan State, North Central, Oakland, Ursuline, UWAC, Valparaiso and Windsor.
 
Toledo complied five top-three finishes during the meet. Senior Liz Welier finished third in the mile with a time of 4:52.87.  Her time is good for fourth best in the conference and was good enough to hit the Mid-American Conference automatic qualifying time.
 
Junior Ty'Shai Freeman picked up two third place finishes in the high jump and triple jump.  Freeman jumped 1.66m in the high jump, and 11.15m in the triple jump.
 
Sophomore Stephanie Barlow put down a personal best 3000m time of 9:59.48, good for third in the meet. In the 800m, junior Theresa Warsecke finished third as well with a time of 2:15.39.   
 
Freshman Christina Johnson and Olivia Chinn both picked up personal bests during the meet. Johnson ran a PR of 7.89 in the 60m, while Chinn ran a PR of 2:20:44 in the 800m.
 
The Rockets finished fourth in the team scoring with 50 points, ahead of MAC foe Bowling Green.  Eastern Michigan took home first place with a score of 135.50. 
 
Toledo will be back in action next Friday, Jan. 22 at the Tom Wright Classic on the campus of Bowling Green State University.
