TOLEDO, OH - The University of Toledo announced its Mid-American Conference opponents for the 2016 season today. The Rockets will host four MAC opponents: Ball State, Bowling Green, Central Michigan and Ohio. Toledo will face Akron, Eastern Michigan, Northern Illinois and Western Michigan on the road.
 
              Dates and times for the games will be released later by the Mid-American Conference
 
              Toledo will open the 2016 season at Sun Belt champion Arkansas State on Sept. 3. A week later, UT will host its home opener vs. Maine, then take on Fresno State in the Glass Bowl on Sept. 17. The Rockets will close out their non-conference schedule at Brigham Young on Sept. 30.
