TOLEDO, Ohio – The No. 3 seed Toledo women's tennis team will open the 2025 Mid-American Conference Women's Tennis Championship on Thursday, April 24, against No. 2 seed Northern Illinois at 2:00 p.m. at the UT Varsity Tennis Courts. The winner of the Toledo-Northern Illinois match will play the winner of No. 1 seed Miami and No. 4 seed Buffalo in Friday's championship match.
Weather permitting, all matches in the tournament will be played outdoors at the UT Varsity Tennis Courts. If a match needs to be moved indoors due to inclement weather, it will be played at Twos Athletic Club.
Toledo won the 2024 regular season championship, earning the Rockets the right to host this year's MAC Championship. Toledo, which is hosting the championship tournament for the second consecutive year, is coming off back-to-back regular season titles in 2023 and 2024 and its first-ever MAC Tournament Championship in 2024.
