TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo men's golf team travels to the East Coast next week to compete in Virginia's Lewis Chitengwa Memorial. The tournament will take place on Monday-Tuesday, April 14-15 at the Birdwood Golf Course in Charlottesville, Va.
The Field
Toledo will be competing against a 12-team field that includes No. 11 Florida State, No. 13 Virginia, and No. 27 Northwestern. Â Also competing are Arkansas, Clemson, FGCU, Liberty, Loyola (Md.), Maryland, North Florida, and Texas State.
Tournament Lineup
Toledo's lineup will consist of senior
CJ van Wyk at the No. 1 position followed by senior
Jamie Butler at No. 2, junior
Mads Jensen at No. 3, freshman Bence Bertenyi at No. 4, and sophomore
Marijn Hoogeveen at No. 5.

CJ van Wyk shot a five-under par 208 and finished in 17
th place to lead Toledo at Vanderbilt's Mason Rudolph Championship last weekend. The Rockets tied for ninth place in the team standings in a field that included six of the nation's Top 50 teams.
Van Wyk tied for first place in par-three scoring at two-under par and registered a team-best 11 birdies. SeniorÂ
Jamie Butler shot under par in the final two rounds and tied for 32
nd place at two-over par 215 (76-69-70). He ranked second on the team with nine birdies.
Van Wyk's performance earned him Mid-American Conference Golfer of the Week honors, joining
Mads Jensen as the two Rockets to receive the league's weekly award ths season.
