Leah Evans, Nejla Karic, Molly Pressler and Janne Slegers earn academic honors
TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo women's swimming & diving student-athletes Leah Evans, Nejla Karic, Molly Pressler and Janne Slegers have been named to the College Sport Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, the organization announced on Tuesday.
All four Rockets are first-time honorees to the Academic All-District Team and also earned Academic All-MAC honors on Monday.
Slegers carries a 3.97 GPA as a psychology major, Pressler boasts a 3.96 GPA as a pharmacy major, Karic owns a 3.84 GPA as a sociology major while Evans has a 3.74 GPA as a health sciences major.
Evans will move to the ballot for Academic All-American. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on April 22.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Women's Swimming & Diving Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
