TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's tennis team returns home for the first time since Jan. 31 for its Mid-American Conference opener against Miami on Sunday. The Rockets and RedHawks will meet at 1:00 p.m. at either TWOs Athletic Club (indoors) or the UT Varsity Tennis Courts (outdoors), weather permitting.
Toledo is 2-0 at home this season and owns a 16-match winning streak on its home court that dates back to Jan. 22, 2023.
ABOUT THE ROCKETS
Toledo owns an overall record of 7-3 after splitting a pair of 6-1 matches in Florida last weekend, falling to USF and defeating Hillsborough. Freshman
Catherine Rhegness was named the MAC Singles Player of the Week on Monday after winning both singles matches on the No. 6 court against USF and Hillsborough.
SCOUTING MIAMI
Miami enters the match with a 1-8 record after dropping matches against Charleston Southern and College of Charleston last weekend. The Rockets and the RedHawks last met in the MAC Championship on April 27, 2024 with Toledo earning a 4-1 win.
