TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's soccer team will host its most challenging non-conference opponents of the season when the Rockets welcome Loyola Chicago and Northwestern to Paul Hotmer Field.
Head Coach mark Batman will make his home debut when Toledo (0-0-1) hosts the Ramblers on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. then face the Wildcats for the first time every on Sunday afternoon. Both games will be streamed on ESPN3 and broadcasted locally on BCSN.

Scouting the Competition
Loyola Chicago enters this week with a 0-2-0 record, falling to Illinois and Kansas in the first week of the new season. Northwestern, which received votes in this week's national poll, starts this season 1-0-1Â with a win over Marquette and a draw with Kansas State. The Wildcats fell to No.1 UCLA in the Sweet Sixteen of the 2022 NCAA Tournament.
The Rockets and Ramblers have not taken the field since Aug. 31, 2012, when UT was on the winning end of a 3-0 shutout. Sunday will be the first-ever game between Toledo and Northwestern.
