TOLEDO, Ohio - Ironworkers Local Union No. 55 will be recognized at the Toledo Football game vs. Buffalo on Oct. 31 for its partnership with Toledo Athletics in sponsoring of the "Ironman of the Game" award. The weekly award is celebrating its 10-year anniversary this season.

Each week, nominees are selected based off their stats accumulated in the previous game and to a vote. Rocket fans get the chance to choose the winner, and each winner is recognized on social media and at pregame for all home games.

The award began in 2013, with running back David Fluellen earning the first "Ironman of the Game" on Sept. 12 for his performance at Missouri the previous Saturday. Fluellen rushed for 111 yards and caught 10 passes in a 38-23 defeat.
