Jamal Hines Named West Division Defensive Player of the Week

TOLEDO, Ohio - Junior outside linebacker Jamal Hines was today named the Mid-American Conference West Division Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in Toledo's 49-17 victory over Bowling Green on Nov. 10.
Hines matched his career highs with 3.0 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks among his seven tackles in the Battle of I-75. He is third on team with 69 tackles, tied for fourth in the MAC with 11.0 TFL, and tied for second in the league with 6.5 sacks.
The Rockets play at Ohio on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. (ESPN+).
