TOLEDO, Ohio - The Toledo men's golf team will continue to challenge itself against the nation's top teams when it travels to Cary, N.C. to participate in N.C. State's Stitch Intercollegiate. The 54-hole tournament will be played on Friday-Saturday, April 12-13. Action will tee off on Friday at 8:30 a.m. at the par-72, 6,973-yard MacGregor Downs Country Club.
"The Stitch Intercollegiate is another quality opportunity to compete and measure ourselves against some of the best players at the collegiate level," Head Coach
Jeff Roope said. "N.C. State and Stitch have put together a pretty special event."
The Rockets are competing in their fourth tournament of the spring against a 15-team field that includes three teams - No. 3 Wake Forest, No. 20 Liberty and No. 21 Louisville - ranked in this week's Golfstat Top 25. UT also competed against five Top 25 squads in each of its two previous tournaments.

Grant Godfrey leads the Rockets with a 74.4 stroke average. Joining Godfrey in the lineup will be freshman

Duncan McNeill (75.4), freshman
David Amm (75.4) and junior
Rasmus Broholt Lind (76.0).
Following this weekend, the Rockets will head to Columbus, Ohio for the Kepler Intercollegiate on Friday-Saturday, April 19-20.
TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
• Fifteen schools are participating in the Stitch Intercollegiate.
• Seven teams are ranked in Golfstat's Top 50. No. 3 Wake Forest leads the way followed by . 20 Liberty, No. 21 Louisville, No. 26 N.C. State, No. 34 South Florida and No. 41 Campbell. In addition, No. 81 Davidson, No. 88 East Carolina and No. 97 Virginia Tech are also ranked in the Top 100.
• Joining the Rockets in the field are Maryland, Old Dominion, Richmond and VCU.
