TOLEDO, Ohio - Senior Pinyada Kuvanun was named the Mid-American Conference Women's Golfer of the Week on Friday after winning her third tournament as a collegian and helping Toledo win its second straight tournament. Kuvanun is receiving the weekly honor for the second time this season and the fifth time in her collegiate career.
    
Kuvanun successful defended her individual title in the Battle at Boulder Creek by shooting an even-par 216 (70-74-72) to finish two strokes in front of her nearest competitor.  She finished with a tournament-high 11 birdies and led all golfers with a five-under total on par-five holes.

Kuvanun and the Rockets will return to action on Saturday-Sunday, March 16-17 at the Valspar Augusta Invitational.
