Toledo, Ohio - The Toledo women's soccer team travels to Bowling Green tomorrow to play its final match of the Mid-American Conference regular season. UT and the Falcons face off at 3:00 p.m. inside the Cochrane Soccer Stadium. Fans unable to attend the match can watch live here.
 
Toledo leads the all-time series against the Falcons 15-7-4 and has been victorious in the last 11 meetings between the two programs. In that time, UT has outscored BG 18-3. Toledo hasn't lost since Nov 1, 2007 (2-1 at BG).
 
The Rockets are coming off a tough weekend that saw them lose 1-0 on the road to both Buffalo and Akron. Against Buffalo, the Rockets forced the match into double overtime before conceding the lone goal in the 101st minute. Against Akron, the winning goal came in the 56th minute off a cross that slipped past sophomore goalkeeper Madison Perrin.
 
Playoff Picture
Defending MAC champion Toledo enters Thursday with the opportunity to control its postseason future. UT is currently tied for eighth place in the MAC standings with 13 points and will enter the MAC tournament if it defeats BGSU on Thursday. The Rockets' 4-5-1 conference record is dead even with Akron. The Zips play Buffalo on Thursday, so either Akron or the Bulls will finish behind the Rockets in the standings if UT defeats Bowling Green.  If Toledo loses Thursday, UT will be bumped from the postseason. The top eight teams advance to the MAC tournament.

Last time against Bowling Green
The Rockets and Falcons last met in the 2017 MAC championship match. UT won 2-1 in overtime thanks to a two-goal outing from Sophie Pohl. Pohl put UT up 1-0 in the 58th minute before BG's Erica Hubert evened things up in the 78th minute. Toledo claimed the title with five seconds to go in the first overtime period when Kelsey Kraft played Pohl a through ball that was bent into the right upper 90.
 
Scouting Bowling Green
BG is coming off a split weekend that saw the Falcons earn their first conference loss of the season and claim the MAC regular-season title.  The Falcons fell 1-0 to Akron on Thursday but rallied on Sunday with a 5-0 blowout over Buffalo.
 
The Falcons pace the conference in goals (36, 2.12 per game) and shutouts (eight). BGSU's Hubert has the second-most goals this season behind UT's senior captain Hannah Scafaria. The Falcon's Kathleen Duwve has the best save percentage (.868) and goals-against average (0.61) and has five shutouts on the year.
 
Scouting Toledo
The Rockets are led by Scafaria, who has netted a career-high 13 goals this season. Scafaria sits in third place for most goals in a single season at UT and is two shy of tying the record (15: Molly Cornwell 2007, Corrie Hasenjager 2000).
 
The captain leads the conference in scoring with 13 goals 0.72/game. She's also second in shots (77), second in shots/game (4.28), and second in points (27). Nationally, Scafaria is ranked 10th for total goals.
 
Scafaria is backed by an offensively dominant UT squad that has had 10 other athletes find the back of the net this season, most notably sophomore Sophia Lewis. Lewis has four goals and her seven assists tie her for fifth-most assists in a season at UT. Behind her is sophomore Alex Troy who has three goals, followed by freshman Elbony Rodriguez and senior Natalie Knauf who each have two goals. Six other Rockets have a goal this year.
 
Perrin has been Toledo's main goalkeeper this year. Perrin holds a 7-7-2 record with four shutouts, a .771 save percentage, and a 1.15 GAA through 15 starts.
