Tia Davis was a three-year starter for the Rockets, guiding UT to a 62-27 record in that span. Davis ranks 18th all-time in scoring at UT with 1,099 points. She earned first-team All-MAC honors as a senior in 2002-03, despite missing the final 10 games of the season with a knee injury. She finished the year averaging 18.1 and 7.0 rebounds as UT ended the season with a 20-10 mark. As a junior, Davis averaged 11.2 points and 5.0 rebounds, guiding UT to a 17-11 record, 12-4 in MAC play. As a sophomore, Davis averaged 9.9 points and 5.2 rebounds. She was instrumental in leading UT to a MAC Tournament Championship and a trip to the NCAA Tournament that season. She earned MAC All-Tournament honors, averaging 12.3 points in three UT victories.
