Huzjak was the Rockets' quarterback on their last undefeated team (11-0-1 in 1995). He was voted second-team All-MAC in 1995 and 1996, and was a two-time Academic All-MAC selection. Huzjak holds UT career records for pass completions (600) and passing attempts (1,067), and is second in touchdown passes (52) and passing yardage (6,926). He led the Rockets to a 40-37 win over Nevada in the 1995 Las Vegas Bowl, the first-ever overtime game in NCAA Division I-A history. He was the starting QB for three years from 1994-96, all winning seasons, and was a captain on the 1996 squad. Huzjak is still involved with the UT football program, serving as the color commentator for local TV broadcasts.
